Hi there, my name is Srdjan Antic, but many people know me by the nickname Riki. I started coaching in 1980, while I have been an FIBA expert since 2013. I was born in 1960 and I live in Belgrade with my wife Dana and my daughter Ana, but the basketball led me through around 50 countries of the world, on various continents.
During my playing and coaching career I am getting experience from the world’s top coaches such as prof. Aleksandar Nikolic, Ranko Zeravica, Zeljko Obradovic, Dusan Ivkovic, Dusko Vujosevic, Bozidar Maljkovic, prof. dr. Slavko Trninic, Gregg Popovich, Mike Krzyzewski, Bobby Knight, Aito Garcia Reneses, Pepu Hernández, and many others.
Top world coaches have unselfishly transferred experiences to me, so I am also willing to do the same with new young coaches. In this way, I work as a lecturer at FIBA courses, various Coaching Clinic, Camps or “Learning-by-Doing” program of Basketball IQ Academy and in this way through blogs and tips on the Internet and social networks. Again, we will cooperate through my blogs uploaded on this website.
It’s my pleasure to contribute to the development of our favorite sport. I love to do these things and I also love to teach other people what I now. And since we have internet I can teach people things while I am asleep or doing something else. I love that!
